Since the route of the actual walk-a-thon in September is flat, let's do a flat course for our kick-off warm-up. We'll start at Pruneyard in Campbell and head south on Los Gatos Creek Trail, then turn around at Hwy 85. That should give us about 6 miles (10K).
This is all off-street so you can walk, run, or combo. Since this is a out-and-back route, those who want to do a shorter route can turn around anytime or stop and wait for the group to return. We'll try to arrange in small groups if necessary so no one will have to walk alone. I won't worry too much about the runners since you folks are used to being alone. :)
Afterwards, we can have lunch at Hobee's. Since runners and those who will be doing a shorter route might return sooner, you can always do some shopping at Pruneyard while waiting for the group. :)
