Coyote Creek Trail is an 18 mile trail that runs from Hwy 237 to Anderson Lake County Park. We will walk 6 miles along a southern section of this trail. This section is paved and partly shaded at that time of day. Terrain is almost all flat. This is a dog-friendly route.
Food: After the walk, we can have dinner at the nearby Holder's Country Inn by Walmart (Monterey Rd/Blossom Hill Rd), or if you have other suggestions, please email me or post a message.
Pack & Wear: This section of the Coyote Creek Trail is paved so walking shoes or running shoes would work fine. Don't forget water!
Directions: Southbound 101, take the 82-Blossom Hill Rd/Silver Creek Valley Rd exit. Turn left at Silver Creek Valley Rd. Make a U-turn at Piercy Rd. After you made the U-turn, you'll see the parking lot on your right (Sign: "Coyote Creek Parkway"). Google map: http://tinyurl.com/m2...
Facility: Rest room available at the parking lot.
Terrain: Easy. Flat and partly shaded.
Distance & Duration: 6 miles (~2 hrs) with a 3 mile bailout option
Carpool: Email me if you'd like to carpool from North San Jose.
